Another long wait getting out a city in Ukraine… The western I got, the longer the times… This guy picked me up because I reminded him of some friend, so he actually turned around.

Cop Blocker without a Plate
Guy in a ridiculously low suspension on his BMW, which had no license plate. Low suspension is cool, but not on Ukrainian roads. Had to stop multiple times to check if he hadn’t destroyed his car. Worked in some MLM scheme, which he referred to as life insurance, however, he seemed to suggest that the way it worked was you’d pay in and then get a payout at the end with some ridiculous interest. Told me many in Ukraine were scared to sign up… Got stopped at a police checkpoint (since this was fairly close to Donbass, the cops had AK47s) because he had no license plates. He started to film the cops and refused to show his ID. The cops eventually gave up and started a friendly conversation as soon as he told them he had one of them on video already. Told me he posts these encounters on YT and hadn’t shown his ID or license once in the past 5 years… Insanity.
